Dune Celebration

Join Siuslaw Public Library and City Lights Cinemas for special Dune-related programming to celebrate the new movie coming out in October 2021!

  • October 12, 3:30 & 6:30 PM: Dune (1984, directed by David Lynch) with presentation by City Lights Cinemas

  • October 21 & 22, 7 PM: Dune (2021, directed by Denis Villeneuve) with exclusive introduction by Byron Merritt, grandson of Frank Herbert

  • October 23, 3:30 PM: Dune (2021) with presentation by Dina Pavlis and Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative

  • October 24, 3:30 PM: Dune (2021) with Siuslaw Public Library book discussion

  • November 4, 10:30 AM: Book Brunch library book club (on Zoom; contact ref@siuslawlibrary.org for meeting details)
