Siuslaw Public Library District is carefully monitoring public health guidance regarding coronavirus and COVID-19. Here is some information about our current response:
Is the library open?
We are now open for limited browsing hours. See our browsing page for more information. We are also offering curbside hold pickup. Staff are onsite to answer calls Monday-Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM, at 541-997-3132.

Yes, you can request items for curbside pickup by phone or online. Learn more.
Are you cancelling library programs and events?
All library programs and events during the closure are cancelled.
Can I use a computer or print something?
We are no longer requiring an appointment to use a computer during browsing hours. We are still offering appointments on Monday and Tuesday evenings at 5 PM. Call 541-997-3132 to schedule. You can also use our express print station during browsing hours. Ask at the reference desk for information.
Do you have wifi?
Yes, our free public wifi is accessible in our parking lots at both Florence and Mapleton. There is no password to log in. Look for the blue sign for more information.
What if I have a reference or computer question?

How do I renew my items, place a hold, or renew my library card?
How do I return my items? Are you quarantining returns?
The 24-hour book drop off Maple Street in Florence is now open. We are also taking returns in the front lobby during browsing hours. The outside book drop in Mapleton is also open.
