Siuslaw Public Library District is carefully monitoring public health guidance regarding coronavirus and COVID-19. Here is some information about our current response:
Is the library open?
At this time, our Florence and Mapleton locations are closed to the public until further notice. However, we are offering curbside hold pickup. Staff are onsite to answer calls Monday-Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM, at 541-997-3132.
Are you doing curbside pickup?
Yes, you can request items for curbside pickup by phone or online. Learn more.
Are you cancelling library programs and events?
All library programs and events during the closure are cancelled.
Can I use a computer or print something?
We have temporarily suspended computer appointments, through at least December 2.
Do you have wifi?
Yes, our free public wifi is accessible in our parking lots at both Florence and Mapleton. There is no password to log in. Look for the blue sign for more information.
What if I have a reference or computer question?
You can get 24/7 online assistance through Answerland on our website. You may also email firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I renew my items, place a hold, or renew my library card?
How do I return my items? Are you quarantining returns?
Yes, we are taking returns inside the Ninth Street lobby in Florence. Place them in the black bins outside, Monday-Thursday, 11 AM - 2 PM, and Friday, 11 AM - 6 PM. Items are quarantined for 72 hours before being checked in.
