How do I get a Library card?
Library cards are available to all residents of the Siuslaw Public Library District without charge. For complete
information, please click here. If you are not a resident of the Siuslaw Public Library District, you are eligible for a
nonresident library card. Nonresident cards are $15 for 3 months or $50 for a year.
2. How do I download ebooks and eaudiobooks?
With a card from the Siuslaw Public Library, you are able to download ebooks and eaudiobooks to your tablet,
Kindle, iPad, smartphone, or other device with Library2Go. This is a free service made available through the Oregon
Digital Library Consortium. Click here to learn more about downloading items.
3. How do I reserve a room?
The Siuslaw Public Library provides access to four rooms that can be reserved without charge by the public: two
study rooms that can seat up to four people; a conference room that can seat up to 15 people; and the Bromley
Room which can seat up to 70 people. While library-sponsored programs and activities are the priority use for each
of these spaces, we welcome groups and individuals to reserve the spaces whenever they aren't in use. Study rooms
can be reserved a week in advance, while the Bromley and conference rooms can be reserved as many
as 45 days in advance. Groups are welcome to schedule one event every 30 days. Events should be free and open to

4. What programs do you offer to families and children?
The Siuslaw Public Library offers several ongoing programs for children and families. On Mondays at 10:30 a.m.,
join us for a special storytime for infants and caregivers. Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m., come to the Library for
a 30 minute storytime perfect for toddlers and school-age children followed by a 30 minute craft/activity. Then, on
the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month, bring your 2nd to 6th graders for Lego Club from 2:15 to 4 p.m. Finally, each
summer, come to the Library to participate in summer reading programs for all ages. Want to see what special

5. Do you have computer and wireless access at the Siuslaw Public Library?
We offer public access computers to Siuslaw Public Library patrons and guests, along with free wireless access. Other
services available at the Library include black and white printing, black and white photocopying, and scanning. There
is no fax service available at the Library. Public access computers are available on a first come basis for up to 60
minutes per day.
