The monthly board meeting of the Friends of the Siuslaw Public Library, Inc., will take place on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the Bromley Room at the Florence library.

​

Monthly board meetings are normally held on the fourth Thursday of the month, except November and December, when they are held on the third Thursday. 

​

Donations Wanted

​

Never idle, our team of book sorters is preparing for our next sale, with donations from you!

We accept donations of your new or gently used books, DVDs, VHS tapes, music and audio books and CDs, puzzles, magazines, and other items. Receipts for tax purposes are available upon request.

​

• Small donations: If you have five or fewer items, you may bring them to the library
  during open library hours.

• Larger donations: For six or more items, please do not leave them in the library. Bring
  them to the Friends' Workroom door, just inside the Maple St. entrance during
  donation hours, Monday and Tuesday from 12 - 2 p.m.

​

Another way to help the Friends help the Library

If you have a Fred Meyer rewards card and have registered your card online, go to https://www.fredmeyer.com/, login, click My Account, choose Community Rewards and

follow the instructions to pick the Friends of the Siuslaw Public Library as your charity of

choice. Then, every time you shop, the Friends will receive credit, and once a quarter, a check.
